Our Team and Professional Staff
Our team consists of Fred S. Moultrie, Certified Public Accountant and professional staff. Mr. Moultrie, is the founder and President of Moultrie Accountancy Group, a CPA firm providing business management, accounting, tax planning and tax return preparation services to individuals, businesses, estates and trusts. He has spent over 35 years as a CPA/Business Manager representing such artists as Prince, Ray Parker, Jr., Lou Gossett, Glynn Turman, Billy Dee Williams, The Jacksons, El DeBarge, Morris Day & the Time, Cameo, and The Temptations.
Mr. Moultrie started his professional career immediately out of college when he joined Price Waterhouse specializing in taxation and auditing. After a few years, he left to form Fred S. Moultrie & Co., a regional CPA firm providing accounting, tax, and auditing services with offices in Los Angeles, San Diego and Berkeley. Later he merged with and became a partner in the international accounting firm of Alexander Grant & Co. (now known as Grant Thornton).
Mr. Moultrie received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting cum laude from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past president of the National Association of Black Accountants and was co-founder of the National Association of Minority CPA Firms.
